Until now, our newest project was one of the best kept secrets in Beverly. The Chocolate Pan is a family-run artisan chocolate shop that creates some of the finest confections I have ever tasted. I met with Robert, the owner of this delicious operation months back. A classically trained confectioner, Robert has been a chocolateier for over 20 years selling his products through wholesale.

Last summer, Sliced Design launched a website for my church for the various concerts they promote. It was a different kind of project, as I had final say in my design process. We were back at it again for GENESIS Church, this time with a new website for the church itself.

At Sliced Design, we look at hundreds of websites a day. There is some amazing talent out there in both the design and development realms. To those people, our hats are off. With that said, the reality is that for every great website, we find five that we think are not so great. These websites are poorly designed and coded using outdated techniques that often result in limited functionality and cost more to manage.
